JJUUJJUU is a dynamic ensemble led by Los Angeles-based musician Phil Pirrone, who has been a touring musician since the age of 15, primarily playing bass. In 2011, he began experimenting with loop-based music after borrowing an SG and a DL4. Collaborating with friend Andrew Clinco (also known as Drab Majesty mastermind Deb Demure), Pirrone developed his song ideas further. He also founded the Moon Block Party and Desert Daze festivals and established Space Agency Booking. With extensive experience in multiple bands and years of touring, Pirrone has focused on organizing festivals in Southern California and booking North American tours for a diverse roster of artists, including SUUNS, Acid Mothers Temple, Ulrika Spacek, Follakzoid, L.A. Witch, Holy Wave, Imarhan, Khun Narin, and others.
