Joe Bennett & The Sparkletones were a rockabilly quartet formed in the late 1950s in Spartanburg, SC. The original lineup consisted of Joe Bennett on lead vocals and lead guitar, Wayne Arthur on upright bass, Howard "Sparky" Childress on guitar, and Jimmy Denton on drums.
