Joe Cain was a Latin music trumpet player, orchestra leader, and producer, born on January 31, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He hailed from an Italian-American family but grew up in the Bronx. Throughout his career, Cain was involved with significant musical ensembles and orchestras. By the 1960s, he worked as an executive producer for various artists and promoted talents such as Charlie and others. Over the course of his career, he produced and supervised more than 400 albums. In the 1980s, he served as the musical director for a notable group. In the 1990s, much of Cain's work focused on arranging for pop artists. He passed away on February 12, 2007, in New York City.
