Joe Greene is a US songwriter and soprano session singer and backing vocalist who was active in the 1970s. He later transitioned to performing gospel music and is often associated with notable artists. Greene is credited for providing backing vocals on the Concert for Bangladesh and the album "Exile on Main Street." He was born on September 29, 1946, in Los Angeles, CA. It is important to note that he should not be confused with the jazz and big band composer and producer who recorded the song "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Cryin'."
