Joe Strummer was a songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and co-founder of notable bands. He later formed additional groups and was involved with a Spanish label in Granada. Born on August 21, 1952, in Ankara, Turkey, he passed away on December 22, 2002, in Broomfield, Somerset, England, due to congenital heart failure.
