Joel Andrews is a renowned US harpist, composer, author, and pioneer in music healing. With over 35 years of experience, he has captivated international audiences through concerts and workshops worldwide. Andrews has released 33 recordings, including collaborations with notable artists like Paul Horn and the Paul Winter Consort. He has received critical acclaim for his performances at prestigious venues, including Town Hall in New York, and has soloed with the San Francisco Symphony under the direction of Arthur Fiedler. In addition to his performance career, Andrews has participated in numerous conferences, such as The World Symposium on Humanity in Amsterdam and The Body, Mind, Spirit Expo in London. He has recorded over 3,000 sessions aimed at individual transformation, and his CDs, tapes, and writings are distributed globally, supporting various therapeutic modalities. Before becoming a healer, Andrews spent 30 years exploring all aspects of professional harp playing, including symphony, ballet, chamber music, opera, and jazz. He served as the head of the Harp Department at the University of Texas, where he organized a National Harp Festival featuring 60 harps. Additionally, he developed improvisation skills through accompanying dancers, poets, and even during significant life events, and facilitated workshops at the Esalen Institute alongside the late Alan Watts.
