Jof & The Ram is a Swiss punk rock band formed in 1979, initially known as Johnny Furgler & the Raclette Machine, and is recognized as Fribourg's first punk band. The original lineup included members on vocals/guitar, bass, and drums. The band changed its name shortly after Pizzi was replaced in the same year. They released a self-titled EP, recorded in 1979 and released in 1981. The group disbanded in 1983, after which Treichler and Pizzi formed a new band two years later.
