Jóhann "Jói" Ásmundsson is an Icelandic bassist and producer, born on March 30, 1961, in Iceland. He is the creator and owner of a music establishment in Reykjavík, which he operates with his son, who is a drummer and producer. Since the formation of Mezzoforte in 1977, he has been an integral part of the band.
