Johann Stamitz was a Czech/German violinist and composer, born in November 1750 in Mannheim, Germany. He is known to be the son of, and the brother of, individuals whose names are not specified. The date of his death is unknown, but it is believed he may have passed away in either 1798 or 1809, likely in Paris, France.
