John Cali was an American guitarist, mandolinist, and banjo player, born on June 26, 1897, in New York, NY. He had a notable career, playing with the Metropolitan Opera Company and the New York Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. Cali was known for his recordings in Swing and Dixieland jazz, as well as polkas. He passed away on April 18, 1984, in Bellevue, WA.
