John Culliton Mahoney is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who made his mark in the music industry as the first artist to record for Amherst Records in 1973. He released the album "Love Not Guaranteed" with the label and is known for his rendition of Buddy Holly's "Raining in My Heart," which featured backing from the Cincinnati Philharmonic.
