John Duncan, born on June 17, 1953, in Wichita, Kansas, USA, has been a prominent figure in performance art, video, experimental music, installation, and pirate radio and television for decades. He has significantly contributed to the development of performance art in Los Angeles and experimental music as a member of the Los Angeles Free Music Society (LAFMS). Additionally, Duncan has played a key role in the Japanese noise scene and pirate radio in Tokyo. Since 2001, he has been releasing his records through his own label based in Bologna, Italy.
