John Grant is an American singer-songwriter born on July 25, 1968, in Buchanan, Michigan, USA. He was formerly associated with a Denver-based alternative rock band in the 1990s and early 2000s. Grant began his solo career in 2010 and moved to Iceland in 2013, where he was granted citizenship in 2022.
