John Steele is a versatile musician from New Jersey, known for his role as the second drummer of Electric Frankenstein from 1995 to 1998. He rejoined the band in 2003 and occasionally performs with them. Throughout his career, John has played drums for several bands, including Genocide, The Systum, Nasty Ammunition, Holeshot, Johnny and The Has-Beens, and Backseat Driver. He is currently the drummer for The 65's. In addition to drumming, John played guitar for High School Sweethearts and is now a guitarist and backing vocalist for Voice of Doom, a band he originally founded in 1985 as the lead vocalist.
