Johnny Bragg (February 26, 1925 - September 1, 2004) was an R&B singer and songwriter from North Nashville, Tennessee. He began his musical career while imprisoned at the Tennessee State Penitentiary in Nashville, where he was serving a sentence for six charges of rape, for which he was convicted at the age of 17. His sentence was commuted in 1959.
