Johnny Dunn was an American jazz cornetist and trumpeter, born on February 19, 1897, in Memphis, Tennessee. He worked with notable figures in the jazz scene, including Perry Bradford, Mamie Smith, Noble Sissle, Jelly Roll Morton, James P. Johnson, and Fats Waller. Dunn passed away on August 20, 1937, in Paris, France.
