Johnny Hawksworth was a British pianist, bassist, composer, and arranger, born on February 2, 1924, in London, England. He worked with the Ted Heath Orchestra from 1951 to 1965 and lived and worked in Australia from 1984 until his passing on February 13, 2009. Hawksworth wrote numerous pieces of stock music for libraries and provided the musical soundtrack for Geoffrey Jones' classic British Transport Film "Snow" in 1963.
