Johnny Nace was a prominent country western musician with a career spanning over 40 years. Born on June 24, 1934, in Kansas City, Missouri, he formed the band Johnny Nace and the Midnighters in the early 1960s, during which he recorded five albums. Nace made notable appearances on the Ernest Tubb Record show in Nashville, TN, and worked as a disc jockey for KOKO radio in Warrensburg, MO, and KDRO radio in Sedalia, MO. He also hosted the Circle 6 Ranch television show in Sedalia. Johnny Nace passed away from a heart attack in Sedalia, Missouri, on August 24, 1990. He was the father of two children.
