Johnny Paycheck

Johnny Paycheck was an American outlaw-country entertainer, born on May 31, 1938, in Greenfield, Ohio. He co-founded a Nashville label alongside a producer-publisher and is noted for his classic country hits as well as his numerous scrapes with the law. After a lengthy illness, Paycheck contracted emphysema and asthma and passed away on February 19, 2003, at Nashville's Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
