Johnny Woods was a celebrated harmonica player and blues singer, born in Looxahoma, Mississippi, in 1917. He collaborated with notable artists of the North Mississippi Hill Country, including Fred McDowell and R.L. Burnside. Woods passed away in Mississippi in 1990.
