Jonah Dan is a renowned reggae percussionist, singer, and producer known for his significant contributions to Dub and Reggae music. He began his journey in the music scene with old school Shaka recordings, where he gained experience and recognition. In 1994, he established his own label, first Records, which marked a pivotal moment in his career. Throughout the years, Jonah has collaborated with notable artists and groups, including Paul Fox in their joint project Shades Of Black, The Disciples, Alpha & Omega / Dub Dynasty, The Bush Chemists, Dougie, and the Conscious Sounds family, among others. He is regarded as one of the veterans of UK Dub and Reggae, holding a foundational status in the genre. As a master of percussion, Jonah Dan has played kete drums on numerous releases across various projects worldwide. In addition to his skills as a producer, songwriter, singer, and MC, he is also a videographer. Known as 'the Dub Uncle' within the scene, he is a respected elder who embodies humility and wisdom, offering stories, teachings, encouragement, and guidance to those around him. Jonah Dan has been actively involved in creating impactful music for decades.
