Jorge Santana was a Mexican-born American guitarist and songwriter known for his contributions to Latin rock, Latin funk, and disco. He was born on June 13, 1951, in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, and passed away on May 14, 2020. As the band leader of a notable group, he released two disco-funk albums in the late 1970s. He was also the brother and uncle of other musicians.
