Joy Unlimited is a German pop band from Mannheim that originated in 1969 following a name change from their predecessor. The band was fronted by a powerful female vocalist from 1969 to 1971 and continued to perform under the same name after her departure. Part of the group also reused the name of their previous band. Over the course of their career, Joy Unlimited recorded seven albums before disbanding in 1977.
