Judy Garland was an American actress and singer, born on June 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and she passed away on June 22, 1969, in Chelsea, England. She achieved international stardom through her performances in musical and dramatic roles, as well as her work as a recording artist and on the concert stage. Over her 45-year career, Garland received numerous accolades, including a Juvenile Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, Grammy Awards, and a Tony Award. She died at the age of 47 from an accidental drug overdose. Garland was married in 1952 and divorced in 1965. She was the mother of three children and had siblings, including one known as . In 1997, she was posthumously awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and several of her recordings were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 1999, the American Film Institute recognized her as one of the ten greatest female stars in the history of American cinema.
