Juke Boy Bonner was an American blues musician and songwriter born on March 22, 1932, in Bellville, Texas. He passed away on June 29, 1978, in Houston, Texas. Bonner was known for playing guitar and performing as a 'one man band' in the juke joints and bars of Houston, utilizing a harmonica rack. His music was largely self-recorded in the Texas Blues style, characterized by a distinct 'down home' flavor.
