Jules Broussard is a saxophone player born in Marksville, Louisiana, in 1937. He is perhaps best known for his work with Santana and Alice Coltrane in the 1970s. For the past 30 years, he has remained a prominent figure in the San Francisco music scene. Throughout his career, he has recorded and performed with notable artists such as Ray Charles, Boz Scaggs, Van Morrison, Carlos Santana, Earl Grant, Elvin Bishop, and Art Garfunkel.
