Julie Roberts is a British jazz, rock, and house music singer, born on May 6, 1962, in London. She began her recording career as Julie Roberts in 1980 and spent four years as the vocalist for a jazz group starting in 1984. In addition to her solo work and musical ensemble projects, Roberts has gained recognition as a sought-after backing vocalist. She has also taught vocal performance basics to British television viewers on the UK's Rockschool TV series.
