Julio Gutierrez was a Cuban pianist, composer, lyricist, director, and arranger, born on January 12, 1918. He passed away on December 15, 1990. He is not to be confused with the individual who co-wrote songs such as "Ay Que Merengue," "Gay Merengue," and "Chatter Cha Cha Cha."
