Jungle Brothers is a hip-hop group formed through the high school friendship of Nathaniel "Afrika Baby Bam" Hall and Michael "Mike G." Small, who brought family friend DJ Sammy B into the mix. The group consists of Nathaniel Hall, Michael Small, and Sammy Burwell, and they are known for embracing a range of styles, including house music, Afrocentric philosophy, James Brown influences, and the use of jazz samples. They are recognized as one of the original yet underrated members of the Native Tongues Posse, a collective that included various hip-hop legends. Their most successful single, "I'll House You," was a collaboration with a house producer, marking an early experiment in what later became known as hip-house.
