Jurassic 5 is a hip-hop group formed in 1994 by members of various L.A. crews who connected through open mic nights at the Good Life Cafe. The group consists of four MCs and two DJ-producers. Cut Chemist left the group in 2006, and Jurassic 5 disbanded the following year. However, the full group reunited in 2013 and began performing again.
