Justo Betancourt (born December 6, 1940) is a Cuban singer renowned for his interpretation of "Pa' bravo yo." He hails from Matanzas, Cuba, but has spent a considerable amount of time in the United States and Puerto Rico. His music reflects Cuban influences while evolving towards Puerto Rican Salsa. Betancourt led a group named Borincuba (Conjunto Borincuba), which combines the names of Cuba and Borinquen, the Taíno name for Puerto Rico. In addition to releasing several solo albums, he has collaborated with notable groups such as the Fania All Stars and Sonora Matancera, and performed alongside prominent musicians and singers including Celia Cruz, Mongo Santamaría, Eddie Palmieri, and Ray Barretto.
