K-Solo, born on April 17, 1968, in Brentwood, Long Island, New York, is an American rapper recognized for his unique lyrical style that features spelling out words within his rhymes. He is an original member of a collective and has collaborated with various artists. K-Solo rose to prominence with his debut album, Tell the World My Name, released in 1990, which included the hit single “Spellbound.” His second album, Time's Up, came out in 1992. In the mid-1990s, he signed with a label, but his recorded material with them was never officially released. Throughout his career, K-Solo has been involved in notable feuds, including a longstanding dispute regarding the origins of the “Spellbound” concept.
