Ķæ P. Rujhaan is an experimental, noise, and field recording artist based in the Pacific Northwest, USA. He operates the label Editions and is known for his non-academic sound practices and studies. Rujhaan employs a crude, minimal recording technique, often recording directly to tape. His work is characterized by raw, unprocessed in-situ field recordings, natural organic noise, and industrial drones. He incorporates sounds from found objects, homemade and non-traditional folk instrumentation, acoustic sound ecology, non-music dialogue, audio archives, and concrete radio tape collaging.
