Kas is an electro and new wave act from Nancy, France, formed in 1980. The duo consists of Spatsz, who handles electronics and rhythm machines, and Mona Soyoc, who contributes guitar, vocals, and piano. Their music is associated with the French coldwave and electropunk movements. Prior to their collaboration, Spatsz worked at a psychiatric hospital, while Mona was involved with a jazz band. Spatsz passed away on February 1, 2019.
