Kebnekajse is a Swedish psychedelic rock band that evolved into a cross-cultural folk-rock and jamming ensemble. Formed in 1970, they took their name from one of Sweden's highest mountains. The band features key stylists such as Kenny Håkansson, a guitarist known for his work on several Bo Hansson and Dag Vag albums, and Mats Glenngård, a violinist and second guitarist. The original lineup disbanded in 1978, although many members continued to be active in various projects. The band reformed in 2001 with a number of original members.
