Keith Jarrett is an American jazz pianist and composer, born on May 8, 1945, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA. He began playing the piano at the age of three and has also performed classical music. In 2018, Jarrett suffered two strokes, which left him partially paralyzed. He has his own music publishing house and is the older brother of a pianist and composer, as well as a singer-songwriter.
