Keith Worthy is a prominent figure in the music scene, hailing from Detroit’s East Side. From an early age, he was exposed to a diverse range of music, thanks to his parents, who introduced him to R&B classics, disco, soul, and more. As a teenager, he was mentored by the legendary DJ/Producer Duane “In the Mix” Bradley, who introduced him to the underground house scene in Detroit. Despite being too young to enter clubs, Keith gained valuable experience by performing at after-hours venues, which helped him cultivate a deep love for abstract house and techno. Over the years, Worthy has established himself as a versatile DJ, performing globally and earning a reputation for his dynamic sets. He is also known for his production work and as the owner of the acclaimed Aesthetic Audio record label. The label, founded in 2007, reflects Worthy’s artistic vision, focusing on raw, abstract, and genre-free music. Aesthetic Audio has received an overwhelmingly positive response, with many releases charting worldwide among top DJs and producers. Keith Worthy continues to evolve in his craft, with more exciting projects on the horizon, including his first full-length album, “The $ of Non-Conformance,” released in Spring 2014. The journey of this talented artist is far from over, and fans can anticipate more to come.
