Ken Parchman was an American rockabilly and country singer born on January 15, 1932, near Jackson, Tennessee. He passed away on June 2, 1999, in Madison, Tennessee. In 1956, Parchman recorded his first single for Sun Records, featuring the songs "Love Crazy Baby" and "I Feel Like Rockin'." However, the release was unexpectedly halted by Sam Phillips, and the reason remains unknown. Over the next two years, Parchman and his band recorded numerous tracks, but none were released. In 1957, he was approached by the owner of the newly established Jaxon label in Jackson, Tennessee, leading to the release of his songs "Treat Me Right" and "Don't You Know," the latter featuring vocals from his brother Ronnie. A year later, he released a second single on Lu Records. Parchman returned to Sun Studios to record more songs in 1958 and 1959, with one of his last recorded tracks being Ray Harris' "Love Dump Baby."
