Keni Burke is a US bassist, keyboardist, songwriter, and producer born on September 28, 1953, in Chicago, IL. He began his career as a bass player with a group, and after the band disbanded, he transitioned into a successful solo artist and session musician. His track "Risin' To The Top" became an anthem for 80s UK soulsters.
