Kenny Sharp is a prominent figure in the Rave scene, having gained recognition as a resident DJ and co-promoter of the legendary rave "Uprising" in the North of England during 1994 and 1995. Prior to this, he was a well-known DJ in his local area, but Uprising provided him with a platform to reach a wider audience. As the resident Trance DJ, Kenny showcased his unique blend of uplifting, hard, and upbeat trance to hundreds of clubbers weekly. During his time at Uprising, he formed a friendship with fellow DJ M-Zone, who had a similar, albeit harder, style. This connection led to Kenny being signed to produce a track for M-Zone's new label, Teach Yourself Techno. His debut release, "Missing You," became the first release on the label and a well-known anthem at Uprising. This marked the beginning of Kenny's producing career, where he achieved several releases and made guest appearances, while also performing as part of the UK44 Live PA team and launching his own label, Uprising Trance. In addition to his production work, Kenny began playing at clubs across the country and, in 1999, left Uprising to focus on his own events, including "Trancentral" and "Destiny." After a brief return to Uprising, Kenny and a fellow co-creator established a new night called "Recycle," dedicated to the music of the Rave era from 1995
