Kev Hopper is a bassist, guitarist, songwriter, and electronic musician who gained recognition in the 1980s as part of the quirky indie band Stump. He later pursued a solo career, highlighted by his early use of sampling in the work "Stolen Jewels." Hopper was also a member of the audio/visual electronic quartet Ticklish, alongside Phil Durrant, Richard Sanderson, and Rob Flint. Currently, he plays bass in the odd-prog-crypto-funk trio Prescott, which includes Rhodri Marsden and Frank Byng.
