Kevin Hewick is a singer-songwriter based in Leicester, known for his work in the early 80s with Factory Records. In 1982, he transitioned to Cherry Red Records and collaborated with The Sound, among others. After 1984, Hewick experienced a period he refers to as his "black hole period," during which his musical presence diminished. However, he made a comeback in the late 90s. In 2003, Cherry Red released the compilation CD "Tender Bruises and Scars," featuring his material from Factory and Cherry Red.
