Kevin I. (Iwamoto) is an award-winning singer/songwriter known for his impressive vocal range and versatility across genres including rock, pop, R&B, standards, jazz, and synthwave. He performed in Hawaii, Japan, and California from 1973 to 1986, during which he recorded three albums, with his last album, New Dimensions, created in collaboration with Bob Wilson of the Grammy-winning group Seawind. Kevin gained recognition as the grand prize winner of the Third Hawaii Music Festival and represented Hawaii and the U.S. at the 12th Tokyo Music Festival alongside notable artists such as Lionel Richie, Barry Manilow, Jennifer Warnes, Joe Cocker, and Nancy Wilson. In 2021, he began digitizing his music catalog from the 1980s, starting with The Best of Kevin I. 1980–1985, followed by Love Songs Collection 1980–1985 (2022 Remaster). Both collections are available on major streaming platforms worldwide. After nearly four decades away from the spotlight, Kevin is set to make a much-anticipated return to music with the release of his new EP, My Continuum, on October 14, 2025.
