Khanate is an American drone doom metal band that formed in 2000 and was active until 2006. They reunited from 2009 to 2010 and reformed again in late 2017. The band describes their music as "ultra gravitational hellish brooding black doom metal with inhuman vocal constructs." The lineup includes Alan Dubin on vocals, Stephen O'Malley on guitars, James Plotkin on bass, and Tim Wyskida on drums. Dubin, O'Malley, Plotkin, and Wyskida have all been part of the band during its original run, the reunions, and the current formation.
