Kid 606, born Miguel Depedro on July 26, 1979, in Caracas, Venezuela, was raised in California and dropped out of school to pursue music. He draws inspiration from a diverse range of genres, including electronica, punk, jungle, hip-hop, bass, dancehall, and techno, blending them with a passion for pop culture. Kid 606 has released critically acclaimed works on labels such as Ipecac, Mille Plateaux, Fatcat, and 555, as well as his own Tigerbeat6 label, and has provided remixes for various artists.
