Kim Gordon is a bassist, guitarist, and vocalist born on April 28, 1953, in Rochester, New York, and raised in Los Angeles. Primarily a visual artist, she moved to New York City and formed a band in 1981 with her husband, whom she was married to from 1984 to 2012. Additionally, Gordon has been involved in several musical projects.
