Kim Oki (Korean: 김오키) is a South Korean saxophonist and former breakdancer who debuted in 2013 with his studio album "Cherubim's Wrath" (천사의 분노). He has released numerous projects and collaborated with various artists, including Park Jiha, Lowdown 30, Hippy Was Gipsy, Say Sue Me, and Bek Hyunjin. In 2020, he won the Musician of the Year award at the Korean Music Awards. Before his music career, Kim Oki was a backup dancer for Sechs Kies and learned to play the saxophone at the age of 25, inspired by Miles Davis, whom he initially mistook for a saxophonist. His debut album was inspired by Jo Sehui's novel "The Dwarf," and he won Best Jazz & Crossover Performance at the 2014 Korean Music Awards. He has performed under several stage names, including Kim Oki Oriental Youth (김오키 동양청년), Kim Oki Fucking Madness (김오키뻐킹매드니스), and Kim Oki Saturn Ballad (김오키 새턴 발라드). In 2016, he contributed to Park Jiha's debut album "Communion." The song "Hotter" by Lowdown 30 featuring him won the Best Rock Song at the Korean Music Awards.
