Kimchii, the artist name of Stockholm-based producer, DJ, and performer Kim Söderlund, is known for his unique sound that blends disco, house, and electro with a deep, energetic, and futuristic feel. Influenced by artists such as CHIC, Empire Of The Sun, Cut Copy, Arthur Russell, Cassius, and Toro y Moi, Kimchii explores diverse musical dimensions. In 2019, he made a significant mark by collaborating with the DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona on the track "One More Night (Kimchii Remix)." The following year, on February 6th, he released his debut single "When You Feel The Time Is Right" through Kitsuné Musique, followed by the single "Free Mind" on Rebecca & Fiona's label, Big Romantic Music. In September 2020, he released a remix for Swedish artist GRANT, and on December 4th, his track "Windsurf" was included in the compilation Too Slow To Disco - Sunset Manifesto, featuring artists like Poolside, Kraak & Smaak, Satin Jackets, and Yuksek.
