Kimo Cornwell, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, is a talented keyboardist of Hawaiian, Chinese, and English descent. He grew up in Kalihi and graduated from Farrington High School. Kimo's passion for music led him to become an active keyboard player in Hawaii, where he played and recorded with various groups. He later moved to Los Angeles with his wife Debbie to pursue opportunities in the mainland music scene. Kimo was discovered by touring groups and toured with several artists, including Hiroshima, Al Jarreau, and Maze, among others. Throughout the mid-eighties, he found himself in high demand, working with multiple bands. Ultimately, Kimo chose to focus his efforts on Hiroshima, where he serves as a keyboardist, composer, arranger, and producer, becoming an integral part of the band's music.
