Kenny Anderson, born in January 1967, is an independent singer-songwriter from Fife, Scotland, known primarily by his stage name King Creosote. He is the founder of Fence, a musical collective and record label based in the East Neuk of Fife. Additionally, Anderson is a member of the Scottish-Canadian band The Burns Unit. In 2011, he collaborated with Jon Hopkins on the album "Diamond Mine," which was nominated for both the Mercury Prize and the Scottish Album of the Year Award.
